Hi all,
After recieving quite a few Private emails ;) about asking for this card, I
spoke to my friend, and told him some people from the Lightwave Mailing list
are interested, and wether I could get a few more. As he is a Lightwave
Nut himself, he agreed. He will try and get me around 20 cards within
the next two weeks. Anyone interested, place your orders now :)
These cards are Brand New, I will test them before sending, as the`ve been
stuck in a warehouse for the past 6 months. I cannot offer any warrenty,
other than post the card back, and I`ll send another working one. This is
not a commercial exercise! ONLY to help other Lightwave users on this list
get a good deal like I did.
As this is a favor to Lightwave users here, I will not markup the price, only
ask you to pay the Postage and packaging blah blah..
He is willing to sell them to me for us$85.00 each, so with postage, I figure
it will be in the region of us$100-110 for shipping to the USA.
What I can`t figure out is why he has 2000 of these cards stuck in a warehouse?
Why has he not tried to sell them? He won`t say. Other than he wants to
start assembling ready-to-go Amiga Video Toasters with SCSI-2 (Warp) and
Ethernet capabilities as standard into the China TV market, so I figure he
bought the cards for this purpose. Or he stole them ;), its alot of cards
to shove up your jumper :)
-Steve.
